Single Line Theatre is an independent, forward-thinking arts organization who found its niche at the intersection of theatre and film.
The company’s mission is to create thought-provoking work — the kind that deeply examines human condition in its complexities — with the goal to better understand our individual and collective selves. Our work is built on values of collaboration, diversity, and artistic excellence.
Single Line Theatre’s inaugural production of The Body of a Woman as a Battlefield in the Bosnian War by Matei Visniec was presented in September 2014 at The Cultch as part of the Vancouver Fringe Dramatic Works Series. This year, the company produced the pilot episode of Hunt for Joy for Telus Storyhive.
Sinziana performed at the acclaimed Festival d’Avignon in France with Made The World Over Theatre, and toured with the same company in South Korea. She worked with directors such as Andrea Boyd, Jeong Ju Kim, and Bernard Salva, and is now thrilled to be working with Cristian Badiu and Darryl Ahye. She has acted, directed, and created new works in both English and French.
Sinziana moved to Vancouver after completing graduate studies at L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, where she focused on Movement and Physical Theatre. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Drama Honors Degree from the University of Alberta.
